Anime/Manga, HomeFree! Eternal Summer is on the cusp of a dramatic turn. Things have been relatively carefree up to this point, at least concerning the graduation story line. But with so few tournaments left for the third years, stakes are heightened and friendships will be tested.
Sailor Moon Crystal Episode Review: 1×03 “Rei – Sailor Mars”
Anime/MangaEpisode 3 of Sailor Moon Crystal continues the manga pacing with its introduction of Sailor Mars. Once again, the story is well done, with Rei being portrayed as per Naoko Takeuchi’s characterization. However, the animation is as bad as “Ami – Sailor Mercury”. It’s more than likely that this is just how it’s going to be from now on.
Zankyou no Terror Episode Review: 1×03 “Search and Destroy” and 1×04 “Break Through”
Anime/Manga, HomeThis week, I had two episodes of Zankyou no Terror to watch, and it still felt like only ten minutes had gone by before I was finished with them. Zankyou no Terror gains momentum with every new episode even as it savors the more quiet moments. It’s shaping up to be one of my favorite series of the summer.

While there aren’t too many things going on in episodes four and five, there’s an immense amount of character development, including a spotlight episode for Nagisa. It’s great to see some of the less prominent characters get their day in the limelight.
