With one episode left, Zankyou no Terror sets the stage for the explosive finale.
This week’s Zankyou no Terror wraps up a huge chunk of the mystery while also delivering a heartfelt and dramatic change in the relationships between Nine, Twelve, and Lisa. It’s a return to form after the less fitting tone of the airport arc, and all that’s left is the thrilling conclusion.
With only a handful of episodes left, Zankyou no Terror is keying up for it’s big finish. It’s been an interesting, if sometimes frustrating, ride. With some many potential ways to wrap up the series, I look forward to seeing how things play out.
The game is officially on. Last weeks airport chess game played out this episode, with Nine, Twelve, and Lisa racing to stop their new-old nemesis Five from detonating a bomb and pinning it on them.
Zankyou no Terror seems to have found it’s true antagonist with Five. While her motives may be just, her ways of going about it hint at a character just as morally questionable as Nine and Twelve, if not more so.
Zankyou no Terror has been adhering to a kind of formula since it’s first episode. It generally begins with the planting of a bomb and ends with the police either succeeding or failing to stop that bomb in time.
