• Gotham producer Bruno Heller attempted to clear up some of the confusion surrounding Poison Ivy’s given name, ‘Ivy Pepper,’ at the Television Critics Association press tour. While he was deliberately vague to avoid spoilers, he seemed to hint at a name change further down the road. (via IGN)
• Everyone’s fave, Neil Patrick Harris, may star in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Freakshow. According to Harris, he wrote a letter to Murphy requesting to be cast, to which Murphy agreed via Twitter. It’s unclear whether Murphy was serious, but if Harris is cast, I might actually attempt to overcome my fear of freak shows and tune in. But probably not. (via Variety)

• Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey is set to host the 2014 Teen Choice Awards on Fox. Posey stars as the adorkable Scott McCall on Teen Wolf, which is currently in its fourth season. Let’s hope he brings some of that charm to his hosting gig. (via Variety)
