- Nintendo revealed three new playable challengers for their upcoming game Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U. Gamers will be able to play as fan favorite Captain Falcon, as well as Lucina and the male and female Robin from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Two new female characters? I hope you’re taking note, Ubisoft. - Life with Archie, the comic series that followed the theoretical adult lives of the gang from Riverdale, will conclude with Archie’s death and the aftermath thereof. The manner of Archie’s death will reflect the nation’s real life struggle with gun violence and intolerance. Life with Archie #36 will include the actual death, with issue #37 wrapping up the series next month. (via ComicsAlliance)
- Disney has released the official cast and character designs for Big Hero 6. I like the designs well enough, though I’m pretty unhappy with the apparent whitewashing of Honey Lemon and Fredzilla. (via ScreenRant)
- Game of Thrones has allegedly cast Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider) in the role of one of the Sand Snakes, Oberyn Martell’s band of kickass daughters. Whether it’s in the role of Obara, Nymeria, Tyene, or one of the others, Castle-Hughes is sure to kick ass. (via MTV)
- Finally, Marvel is making some sort of “explosive” announcement on The View tomorrow morning. Assuming that it’s lady-relevant, fingers crossed for a Captain Marvel or Black Widow-related announcement! (via Deadline)
